About
10 Magical Years is a fanzine project in the works with the intention of celebrating a 10 years, a whole decade of NTT Solmare's now discontinued game Shall We Date? Wizardess Heart+.10 Magical Years will primarily feature two digital zine editions, the first dropping on December 16th 2024 and the second May 28th 2025.
Both editions will be free. The zine will feature both canon focused works and alternate universe (au) focused works.
The works of the first edition will be all season specific focused as opposed to individual character focused, this would be to account for every romance-able character to be featured in the zine.During the period between the release of the 1st edition of the zine and 2nd edition of the zine physical and digital merchandise will be released.
The two merch mediums will both be for sale, with the profits from the physical merch being donated to "Doctors Without Borders Charity" and digital merch profits being for-profit.As thanks for helping us donate to charity, physical merch will also come with templates of certain digital merch works that can be formed into physical merch with proper tools. The second edition of the zine will primarily be an accommodation for contributors with terribly busy schedules. Due to this, there may be season focused works in the second edition. However, contributors who were apart of the first edition will have freedom to explore individual characters in the second edition if they so wish. Both editions of the zine will have the same contributor application and same application submission period.
The contributor applications will only be separated by role.
Contributors are more than welcomed to apply for multiple roles in with the respective applications. The 1st edition and accommodating works on the 2nd edition will be required to be focused on characters on a season of wizardess heart, meaning each work will contain 3 characters of a particular season as the primary subjects. Additional characters in the work are optional, but season based character focus is required.
Contributors will be required to gain approval of a proposal for a piece from a Moderator before they may proceed to bring the concept to life.
This project is unaffiliated with NTT Solmare Cooperation.
It is brought to you with love by your fellow fans of Wizardess Heart.
Rules
Contributors and Moderators are expected to be discrete with all information inside the server, unless stated otherwise.
This especially includes WIPS and / or proposed piece concepts. Please refrain from sharing such things to social media until Moderators give approval for social media sharing.
All zine works MUST be approved by a moderator at conception before they may continue on to be brought to life!
Conception process may be different for everybody, but the full on creation of the work may not occur without Moderator approval
We kindly ask that you submit check-ins / progress updates every month. The exact date does not particularly matter, as long as you keep the moderators updated.
Contributors who miss 3 submissions / months will be promptly removed.
Please be reminded communication with moderators is especially important to maintain organization of this project.
We suggest contributors aim for the beginning of every month to submit a progress update so that they may have wiggle room should any unexpected events occur
All zine works MUST be completed by the final deadline for each edition.
First week of December & First two weeks of May
WIPS will not be presented in the zine.
This zine will not tolerate hate speech and bullying.
Individuals found engaging in such behaviors will be removed from the zine.
Disagreements are expected to be handled professionally and preferably outside the server if unrelated to zine.
Individuals who disregard this will be given up to 3 strikes before they are promptly removed from the zine.
Problematic themes such as incest, pedophilia, zoophilia and ect will also not be tolerated.
Individuals found engaging with such content will be removed from this zine.
Theft of another's work will not be tolerated nor presented in this zine.
This includes tracing and Artificial Intelligence (AI).
Individuals caught in the act of theft will be either forced to re-do their piece or removed from the zine all together.
This project is unaffiliated with NTT Solmare Cooperation.
It is brought to you with love by your fellow fans of Wizardess Heart.
Contributor Applications Status: Applications open!
Contributor Expectations
Individuals are welcomed to apply to multiple roles. We STRONGLY advise against applying with a single mind for a particular season / character.
The chances you will actually be assigned your primary choice are low.
Only exceptions are for voice actors. In the case of a drop out we will be seeking out someone who can pick up the season, which will be a role available to apply for on (almost, (voice actor apps will not have this option)) all applications. The season that writers and page artists will be focused on will be assigned to them based off their contributor application.Collaborations between artists, writers, and voice actors may be given a green light by a moderator, under certain conditions.
These conditions will depend on the context of the situation, but the following are the general expectations.Artist - Writer collaboration: An artist may create work of a writer's season based piece, but will have to had completed their own assigned season first.
If the writer's work will be featured in the 1st edition, the artist's piece MUST be made in time for the 1st edition's deadline as well.Artist - Voice Actor Collaboration: Artists may create a comic for voice actor(s) to voice over, but will have had to completed their own assigned season first.
Characters would be limited as we will not have voice actors for all characters.
This piece's deadline will be subject to the voice actor's schedule + work ethic. Moderators will assist in establishing one that may be compatible for all parties.Writer - Voice Actor collaboration: Writers may write a piece that voice actors of the zine would voice, however their own season based piece must have been completed first.
However, characters would be limited as we will not have voice actors for all characters.
This piece's deadline will be subject to the voice actor's schedule + work ethic. Moderators will assist in establishing one that may be compatible for all parties.Artist - Writer - Voice Actor collaboration: Artists may either be initially included or join a writer - voice actor collaboration.
All conditions that were previously stated apply to this collaboration as well.
The writer will be required to complete their part of the collaboration first, again should follow the deadline that was arranged.Collaborators will still be required to go through a conception process that should be approved by a Moderator before proceeding to the creation process of the collaboration.Profits from digital merch will be opt-in, available to do so on all
contributor apps. While the 2nd edition will allow for individual character focus, the characters will be first come first served. Aside from 2nd edition collaborations there will not be multiple pieces of the same character featured in this zine.
Page Artists
Every page artist will be required to draw at least one season based piece, which will include the 3 characters of that particular season.
Other characters may be included alongside the 3 characters of interest in the piece, but should not be the focus.Page artists are strongly suggested to avoid wide canvas sizes.
The widest aspect ratio that may be accepted is 2.75 : 1, however further discussion will need to be had with a moderator in order to test compatibility.
Canvas size test would occur during the conception period of a piece. To ensure high quality, the lowest pixel canvas size to be accepted will be 1600 px (5.33in, 13.55 cm)
Exceptions may be made for pixel art.Artist - Writer collaboration: An artist may create work of a writer's season based piece, but will have to had completed their own assigned season first.
If the writer's work will be featured in the 1st edition, the artist's piece MUST be made in time for the 1st edition's deadline as well.
An artist and a writer may collaborate together on an individual character for the 2nd edition.Artist - Voice Actor Collaboration: Artists may create a comic for voice actor(s) to voice over, but will have had to completed their own assigned season first.
Characters would be limited as we will not have voice actors for all characters.
This piece's deadline will be subject to the voice actor's schedule + work ethic. Moderators will assist in establishing one that may be compatible for all parties.Artist - Writer - Voice Actor collaboration: Artists may either be initially included or join a writer - voice actor collaboration.
All conditions that were previously stated apply to this collaboration as well.
Depending on which direction the collaborators wish to take, an artist may be required to finish their piece before the voice actor(s) complete their part.
OR an artist would wait until after the voice actor(s) have completed their part to work on their piece.Collaborators will still be required to go through a conception process that should be approved by a Moderator before proceeding to the creation process of the collaboration.Crafters and traditional artists will qualify as page artists.
Both should ensure they are capable of taking good
quality photos of their work.

This includes artistic nudity and suggestive pinups! If you are aiming to draw a character of WH that has a detailed design, please include at least one piece that includes a character with some similar design level.WH pieces are not required, but strongly encouraged.
Writers
Every writer will be required to write a 800 minimum words piece that focuses on the characters of the season they were assigned to.
Other characters may appear in the piece, but should not be a main character.Works should be done on an application that can export as an word document.Writer - Voice Actor collaboration: Writers may write a piece that voice actors of the zine would voice, however their own season based piece must have been completed first.
However, characters would be limited as we will not have voice actors for all characters.
This piece's deadline will be subject to the voice actor's schedule + work ethic. Moderators will assist in establishing one that may be compatible for all parties.Collaborators will still be required to go through a conception process that should be approved by a Moderator before proceeding to the creation process of the collaboration.

Applications that do not follow the guidelines will be disregarded.

All can be accessed through icons at the bottom of the page.
Certain word counts will be used to judge how many pieces should be shown as examples of your work.
The minimum word count of each submitted piece is at 600 words.
Below is a bit more specific on the guidelines.600 - 3000 word count: 3 stories should be submitted if all pieces are around this word count. They should each be focused on different characters respectively.3000 - 5000 word count: 2 stories should be submitted if both stories fall around this word count. The two should be focused on different characters respectively. Side characters ought to be present to an extent in these works.5000+ word count: This can act as your only submission. HOWEVER we highly recommend straying away from this unless 5+ characters appear for a good amount of screen time.We are asking for specific guidelines to ensure that we may have enough material to gauge how adaptable you are to different characters' personalities.
Please be sure to allow the mod team to access the files if you are uploading through google drive. We will at least attempt to inform you if we do not have access but please double check before submitting your form.Otherwise please provide a direct link to the stories you are submitting, alongside stating the word count of that story.
We will ignore applications that simply link to a social media account in the story submissions part.
Please be sure that your story submissions are reflective of your recent work. Please do not include NSFW stories.WH fan fiction submissions are absolutely encouraged, but if you really do not have any WH stories, we will attempt to make due.
Merch Artists
Please be aware that only a select few characters will be receiving merchandise!
Requests for certain characters will not be accepted outside of the
selected few.
Even requests for a character that will be receiving merch will be likely rejected if they have already been assigned to someone else.
Potential contributors please be reminded to come into this project with an open mind rather than hoping for a particular character.Canvas requirements will vastly differ based on the exact merch item an individual would be working on.
Details to be discussed during the conception process of a merch item.Reminder on what merch items are to be created below:
Numbers are estimates, we may end up including more characters and merch items if all initial merch items are completed.2 Keychain charms
2 Enamel (Metal) Pins
3 Emotes
5 Profile Picture Icons
1 Mobile Background Picture
1 Desktop BackgroundMerch artists may be required having to take on two or more pieces should there be insufficient amount of people taken into this role. The deadline for each piece will be given to you by a moderator before you begin on the creation process of the piece.Moderators will need to approve of a rough or clean sketch of a piece before the artist may move on.
This is the merch artist version of the conception process, we will be needing a visual of a potential piece as words would be difficult to properly visualize into merch items.
Merch Artists ; Application Guidelines
Applications that do not follow the guidelines will be disregarded.
If you require assistance in following the guidelines while completing the application please reach out to us through any of our social media or gmail.
All can be accessed through icons at the bottom of the page.
Your portfolio must consist on at LEAST one work that may display you are capable of creating merch.
Design sheets are a suggestion, but a piece that was straight up made for merch use (pins, charms, sticker sheets, ect....) would be ideal.
Said pieces do not need to have actually been turned into physical merch.Your portfolio must have at least 3 completed works. Please be sure to allow the mod team to access the files if you are uploading through google drive. We will at least attempt to inform you if we do not have access but please double check before submitting your form.If you are linking your twitter page as your portfolio please be sure your media tab consists of at least 75% art.

Voice Actors
Voice actors will ONLY be featured in the 2nd edition.Voice actors would go into production once a piece has been made for them to voice.
This may be last quarter of the 1st edition production or start of the 2nd edition's production.
Please see writer expectations for a bit more context. If an individual feels they have a flexible voice, they may apply to voice multiple characters. Please be sure to ensure proper quality of your voice. No background noises.Clip lengths will ultimately depend on the script material, exact details are to be discussed once a scrip is available to work off.
Voice Actors ; Application Guidelines
Applications that do not follow the guidelines will be disregarded.
If you require assistance in following the guidelines while completing the application please reach out to us through any of our social media or gmail.

Please be sure your portfolio has at least 3 voice acted pieces.
If you are applying for multiple characters please be sure all 3 of these pieces are of different characters. Each piece should be around roughly 30 seconds at a minimum. The only exception to the 3 piece guideline would be if a piece is 5 minutes
or longer and features multiple characters that appear for a fair amount of screen time that are all voice acted by you. Please be sure to allow the mod team to access the files if you are uploading through google drive. We will at least attempt to inform you if we do not have access but please double check before submitting your form. Please only link to a page that consists of solely voice acting. Please be sure that your portfolio or uploads are reflective of your recent work. Please do not include NSFW pieces.WH pieces are not required, but strongly encouraged.

Frequently Asked Questions
I can't access the zine, what do I do?
First make sure it's not an internet problem or that your storage is to full.
It's a big file, so please be patient.
You may live in a country with blocked access to Google Drive, such as, Crimea, Syria, Iran, China and, Cuba.
If this or all other potential hurdles is the case, please email us at [email protected] and we will try to work with you to give access to the zine.
Do I need any knowledge of Wizardess Heart to apply?
As a writer, most likely yes. For all other roles, no.
How will contributors be assigned to their season / character?
For adaptable contributors, it will be random.Otherwise moderators will be going over information provided in contributor application to determine which season would be acceptable for that individual.
Can contributors apply for all 4 roles / multiple roles?
Sure, if you have judged yourself flexible to that extent then feel free. However, do not do this if you have no intention on actually taking on the tasks with each role respectively.
Will contributors be able to apply for the
2nd edition already?
Yes, we will not be hosting an 2nd application period.
However, there will be two instances of contributors applying for the 2nd edition within the contributor applications. The general opt in opt out: The option on 3/4 apps to opt in for the 2nd edition. This choice can be changed during the production period of the 1st edition by notifying a moderator.
Individuals who opt in will have free reign to explore individual characters during the 2nd edition's production period.
Does not include Merch artists and Voice actors. Please see respective roles' expectations for further context. The accommodation option: For those with busy schedules / very slow work ethic, their pieces will still revolve around being season focused, but will have extended time of the 2nd edition's production period to work on their piece.
Do contributors really have to draw / write a
season based work?
Yes. Page artists and writers are required to complete that requirement in order stay on the zine.
Contributors who attempt to violate this requirement will be removed from the zine after 3 strikes.
Is there an age requirement to apply for the zine?
No, but minors will be unable to opt in for Digital Merch profits.
Will NSFW pieces be featured in this zine?
No, we wish to make this a zine everybody can enjoy and contribute to.
Will I be able to contribute if I live in (Country)?
Yes, anybody from any place of the world is welcomed to contribute to this celebratory zine!
However certain countries may be unable to receive Digital Merch profits as apps such as PayPal and CashApp are not fully international.
Can I still apply as a contributor if I missed the contributor application period?
The only time contributor applications will be fully closed is the 2nd half of the 2nd edition's production period.Otherwise, with requests and discussion with a moderator through social media message or Gmail the chances that you'd be able to land a spot in the zine are high!
Will shipping be possible to (Country)?
The countries that will be unable to receive physical merchandise include: Belarus, Ghana, Iran, Russia, Sudan, South Sudan and, Syria. This list is also likely applicable to countries unable to receive Digital Merch profits.
What will be the shipping prices?
The exact prices are unknown at the moment, they will most likely be finalized at checkout.
However, physical merchandise shipping costs will be covered 75%, but will require 25% coverage by buyer at checkout.
